Legendary Hall of Fame Quarterback Bobby Hebert joined forces with Keesler Federal this week to honor First Responders of the Year across the Mississippi Coast. In appearances in Gulfport, Waveland, and Pass Christian, Bobby Hebert gave praise and tribute to those he called “the true unsung heroes who keep us safe.”
This is the ninth year Keesler Federal has sponsored its First Responder recognition program. This year, 85 different public safety departments across Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama participated.
This week, we honor Michael Lewis, also known as the "Beer Man", wide receiver and return specialist. Michael left a lasting mark on the Saints organization and is remembered as one of the most beloved players in franchise history.

Fred McAfee
This week, we honor Saints Legend Fred McAfee. Initially selected by the Saints in the 1991 draft, he was resigned a second time in 2000 where he played until 2006. McAfee has since joined the Saints front office where he now serves as Vice President of Player Engagement.

The following day, Saints Legend Running Back Dalton Hilliard was on hand to present awards to Karole Muller of the Mandeville Police Department and Patrol Officer Anthony Karsolich of the Slidell Police Department.
Bobby Hebert presented First Responder of the Year awards to Sergeant Will Collins of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Patrol Officer Taylor Bourgeois of the Waveland Police Department, and Detective Sergeant David Spence of the Pass Christian Police Department.
